The songs of this CD are of tremendous historical significance. They are a unique example of an emerging talent that was to propel the Brothers Gibb, Barry, Robin and Maurice to be one of the most successful songwriting teams of the twentieth century. The songs were selected because they were never officially released by the Gibbs themselves. All are original covers of the songs, most never being covered again and many being specifically written by the Gibbs for the artist who recorded it. They were all recorded in and were exclusive to Australia during the period 1963 - 1967. This is the first time that the vast majority have appeared on CD. The songs in their original vinyl format are desperately rare and are highly sought after by collectors throughout the world.
