Music For UNICEF was a benefit concert in 1979 to kick off the United Nations (U.N.) Year of the Child. It was performed in the U.N. General Assembly Hall, and included a variety of acts, such as Abba, Rod Stewart, Olivia Newton-John and the Bee Gees, just to name a few. Each of the performers turned over the copyright and the future income from their chosen song to UNICEF, in support of the children of the world. The Bee Gees' contribution to this effort was Too Much Heaven.
