Album Notes
From the following website:

The Sydney concert captures the legendary artist during his 26-date Australian ''Tour de Force'' run in late 1986, which featured the 88-piece Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. While planning the setlist for the orchestral half of the concert, Elton selected songs from his first few albums, many of which he had not performed live for nearly 15 years, as they featured string and horn arrangements. A resulting live album from the tour stayed on the Billboard 200 for 41 weeks, the second-longest of any Elton album since 1975.

The thrilling show kicks off with Elton donning a purple wig, performing ''One Horse Town,'' into ''Rocket Man,'' before seamlessly performing from underneath his piano. The setlist includes some of Elton's most beloved hits, including the triumphant ''I'm Still Standing,'' the raucous ''Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting,'' and the wistful ''Daniel.'' The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra join the artist for a variety of favorites, including ''Your Song'' and ''Tiny Dancer.''
