Album Notes
On August 4, 2007 at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas, four Texas music legends met to perform songs that shaped their music careers and a music genre known today as Texas music. Bill, Bonnie and Michael Hearne opened the show, followed by Gary P. Nunn, Rusty Wier and Michael Martin Murphy. The emcee for the evening was Bob Livingston, who not only performed, but entertained us with stories about the artists. This is an audio recording of Rusty's show that evening.
Several months later, Rusty was diagnosed with cancer. Shelly and I decided to release an advanced copy of Rusty's set with all of the proceeds benefiting his medical treatment. If you have ever been to a Rusty Wier show, you will know that he gives his all to make you smile. If you are like me and have had many great experiences while watching his shows, I believe you will take great pleasure in supporting Rusty and his family through this time of need. You will also be able to relive what Rusty believes to be his best performance ever.
Thank you for your support. Jeff and Shelly Mack
